Joint Enquiry into Atrocity Cases :

 

            At the beginning of the year, 31 no. of cases were pending for conducting joint enquiry in to the cases of atrocities and submission of report. From 01.01.2005 to 30.11.2005, 19 no. of cases have been registered. In all the cases Executive Magistrate have been detailed to conduct joint enquiry with S.D.P.O., Deogarh. Out of total 50 nos. of cases, joint enquiry in respect of 34 cases has been completed leaving a balance of 16 cases. The pending cases are relating to the year 2003-2002, 2004-01 and 2005-13. Concerned Executive Magistrate and S.D.P.O., Deogarh have been requested to complete all the pending joint enquiry cases on priority basis.

            During the current financial year, 2005-2006 the following allotment has been received from Government in Law Department, Orissa for payment of the fee bills of Non-Cadre prosecutors.

 

                        Pay-                                                     Rs.   30,000.00

Payment for professional and special services    Rs.5,00,000.00

 

            Out of the above allotment, expenditure to the tune of Rs.18,000/- and Rs.1,23,620/- have been made under the item. Pay and Payment for Professional and Special Service respectively.

 

            Fee bill amounting to Rs.1,24,000/- is pending for want of clarification from Government in Law Department, Orissa called for vide District office letter No.6308/Judl., dtd.26.07.2005 in respect of three Law Officers working in the Court of Asst. Session Judge-cum-C.J.M., Deogarh.
