Particulars of Organization, Function and duties

1.Aims and objectives of the Organization:-

            Tahasil Office is the only office in this District. All the matters relating to allotment of land, disputes relating to land matters and information regarding lands have been dealt in this office. To provide the information relating to land matters  for rendering service to the tenants as well as general people is the aims and objectives of this office.

            Similarly, in Touzi Section, all the matters relating to collection of revenue rent, cess, N.Cess, Water rate, royalty and Misc. Revenue ,  Revenue collections are dealt.

 

2.Mission/Vision:-

            To give adequate informations relating to land matters and payment of land revenue  and water rate for the lands held by the tenants. The information shall be provided in the office.

 4.Orgnaisation charts:-

            In Tahasil Office all the correspondence and case matters like, Mutation, Bebandobasta cases, Certificate cases, Forest, Endowment & Charitable, Estate, Mines and Minerals, Touzi, Rehabilitation & Resettlement, Settlement of lands,  Factories,  Land Revenue, Irrigation  and all the reports and returns, i.e., Annual, Half-yearly, quarterly, Monthly, Fortnightly and daily are maintained in this office.

 

5.Allocation of business:

            To issue direction to the Revenue Inspectors relating to land matters and monitoring of collection of revenue receipts, i.e., land revenue, water rate, disposal of various revenue cases, issue of misc. certificates, redrassal of public grievance , communization of land records etc are the main business of Tahasil office.

 

6.Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:-

            All the correspondences from Government, Board of Revenue and Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Northern Division, Sambalpur, Collector Deogarh, Sub collector, Deogarh as well as from Higher quarters after being received are complied after collection of the information from the R.Is concerned, different sections of the Tahsil and other sources. Further, the Miscellaneous petitions relating to land dispute, settlement of land(individual/institutions/organizations/Government Departments) are also dealt in this in Tahasil Office.

7.Details of services rendered:-

            In Tahasil office the following mattes are dealt.

            1.Issue of Miscellaneous certificate.

            2.Settlement of land( individual/institution/organization/Government Departments).

            3.De-reservastion and Reservation of forestland/ Gochar land.

            4.Forest settlement.

            5.Issue of N.O.C. for installation of stone crusher unit/Retail outlet.

            6.Establishment of factories/mines and lease of land.

            7.Inspection Report/Audit report on C&AG of India relating to land revenue.

            8.D.C.B.position of Tahasil/ District office.

            9.Realisation of royalty.

            10.Settlement of housesites/ Agrl.land

            11.Distribution of ceiling surplus land.

            12.Site selection/ demarcation of land.

           13.Cases relating to Mutation, Bebandobasta,U/s 8-A of OLR Act, Encroachment,    

               Certificate, Lease cases.

            14.Collection of land revenue, water rate

            15.Settlement of sairat sources.

            16.Advance possession of government land.

            17.Appeal/Revision cases relating to land matters.

            18.District level Revenue Meeting./Filed staff meeting of R.Is

            19.List of R.I.Circles/Villages.

8.citizens interaction:. The public grievances are being heard and disposed of . as per the rules and provisions.

13.Grievance redress mechanism.:-

            As soon as Grievances petitions are received, the same are entered in the relevant registers and for speedy disposal. it is put up to the Tahasildar. for disposal as per the provisions.
