AGRICULTURE
INTRODUCTION :
The District has one Medium Irrigation Project named “Gohira”. It has 23 MIPs. The District is drought prone & the topography is mostly undulating. The major soil groups found are red, yellow, red and black, latarites. It is the industry less District Agriculture is a major & prime source of income of the people. The District has experienced abnormal monsoon during khariff 2000 & 2002. The rainfall is erratic in nature.
